Drapery, Blinds & Design is a culmination of a lifetime of work in the arts and home fashion industry. Lisa Foucart, a local artist and designer, chose to launch a business that used her talents, passions and ingenuity. She is a graduate of the Corcoran School of Art & Design.

After decades of working in the home fashion industry, Lisa found it frustrating that luxury had to come at such an extreme cost and was very exclusive. To fix what she saw as a major issue, she set up a company that makes good design more affordable. She believes that everyone should come home to beautiful surroundings that makes them happy, and no matter what your budget, Lisa is willing to discuss your project.

Having worked with window treatments for years, Lisa is very particular about the vendors and products she works with. They have been selected for their beauty, durability, safety and quality. We all can go to a big box store and get window treatments, but do we really have time to travel from store to store to find these features? Do you want to install them? What if your choice  in a store doesn’t look good in your house? If you’ve ever been in that situation, you know how frustrating it can be.
