Pete’s Hankies and Napkins are a branch of Lisa’s business, Studio Foucart. These products are culmination of her love of fabric and love of art, color and painting. Most of the time these products are small batch hand dyed and then screen printed.
Lisa’s napkins are eco-friendly, small batch hand dyed and then screen printed. Some are on organic cotton that is milled and grown in the United States. Believing in living with beauty and being responsible for our environment Lisa started making napkins to replace paper products in her home. After making some for gifts for family and friends she started getting commissions. You can find Pete’s Hankies and Napkins in shops around Frederick, MD and also at farmer’s markets and craft shows. Feel free to reach out with any request.
Pete’s Hankies was the direction Lisa was heading for when she started making the napkins in 2010. It took her five years to find the perfect handkerchief fabric that could be dyed and screen printed. Pete’s Hankies are made from a lightweight yet durable and absorbent fabric that is 60% Cotton/40% linen. These handkerchiefs provide an artful alternative to the overpriced and wasteful paper products sold every day.
